Starting to think we may end up with this guy if we take 21. Assuming we land Kongbo and miss on Brown.

If no Brown or Kongbo then this is a disappointing class for a Butch Jones class at UT. Doesn't mean they didn't put in the work to have a top 5 class. Recruiting HS kids is a crazy business and CBJ was in the mix for a ton of the top guys. Unfortunately, it appears he will be a bride's maid for most. It happens, but all these folks thinking its fine are delusional. We're in the toughest conference and it takes consistent top 10 classes every year to be in the mix for championships.

Time to coach em up and jump on the 2017 recruiting cycle. Hopefully next year will be better!

Miami is a great academic school so clearly most of the posters on their board never set foot on campus. In one sentence they'll boast about Miami's academic prowess and in the next sentence spew stereotypes about our fans. Real enlightened bunch. Plus, they must be young. No knowledge of cfb history. Vols 2nd in championships, nfl players, etc. only to Bama in SEC statistics. Fun watching the Canes board meltdown.

signing 10 4 stars out of roughly 20 is not a disappointment by any stretch

I'm not usually worried about star ratings that much but someone let me in on why we're battling Miami for a 2 star kid with otherwise jack crap for an offer list.

89 on 247 and 4 star on espn.... and because he is a baller. hasnt been evaluated on rivals.

YOU have zero idea what kind of class we have. You'll be the same guy screaming your head off in two years when a QB from this class throws a TD to a WR from this class.

A great deal of those that get paid to follow the team will be wrong on the #s. Won't be the first time I know but with the Stewart news yesterday I am even more confident 3 is correct

I disagree. While it appears that we may miss on Kongbo and Brown, this was not expected to be a huge class. It was a class to get a bunch of players that can be developed for the future and a few immediate contributors.

We have the contributors in Byrd, Warrior, Alexis Johnson, George, Henderson and perhaps Marquill Osborne. With Niehaus, Tatum and Ryan JOhnson, we have 3 great developmental OL's. With Guarantano we have the QB of the future and we have several other developers.

This program is at the point right now, where you are going to start seeing us redshirt more freshmen than we play.

Richt threw himself on the floor in the front lobby and started crying and screaming, "don't take all my croots"! They had to lock the place down and call in the white coats.
