Yeah linking to his recruiting profile that lists him as a two star doesn't help your point.
But I'm sure you're right and there's no possible way a fast kid could fly under the radar.
Kids with elite speed fly under the radar all the time. Coaches usually start identifying prospects in their freshman or sophomore year in high school. If a kid doesn't camp or put up big numbers early then they can be overlooked. If you're not a starter until your senior year, or you play small classification ball, or if your team sucks you can be overlooked. Potential superstars still slip through the cracks every year for one reason or another. Think about Marshall Faulk only being offered to play running back by San Diego St.
Speaking of Marshall Faulk, this is a good read
"By the fall of the 1990, college coaches nationwide were in hot pursuit of Marshall. Powerhouses Nebraska, Miami, Texas A&M, and LSU all recruited him, but only as a defensive back. The only recruiter who talked to Marshall about playing halfback was Curtis Johnson of San Diego State. Marshall was determined to run the ball in college and committed to the Aztecs."
Marshall Faulk
Can't say I remember anything about his grades. But if he can get in EC, most SEC schools could get him in as long as he can write his name IF they really want to.
How exactly does linking to Chris Johnson's (pretty much the gold standard for elite speed) 2* profile prove that guys with elite speed never fly under the radar?
Bless your little heart. Where have I "confused fast for elite"? All I've said is that it's possible for a kid with elite speed to fly under the radar and that Chris Johnson had elite speed. I haven't been inconsistent in that. I'm not the one who needs help with reading comprehension here. You confuse fast with elite, never for virtually impossible. Either a failed attempt to (yet again) change the narrative or failed reading comprehension, which is it?
Why you persist to mistakenly assume CJ (elite speed and all) flew under the radar is beyond me. FBS and FCS programs alike knew but chose not to pursue. If not for ECU he would have been JUCO bound
Enough :horse:

Nope. It's obviously impossible for fast kids to fly under the radar.

As for CJ and "flying under the radar" I'm talking about recruiting rankings. He wasn't a highly rated prospect. You can keep on claiming that schools knew all about him and just chose to pass, but there's no evidence for it. Recruiting services don't bump down kids for grades. If they did, kids like Dante Sawyer and Bo Scarborough would'nt have been highly ranked either.
These are yours are they not?

Clearly confused

Fail.
You refuse to accept "academics and baggage" yet you have presented absolutely zero argument or evidence to the contrary
His 2 star ranking certainly was not due to a lack of athleticism, speed, or accomplishment on the gridiron or track. Provide another 2 star player (ever) to to be named to FL Super Prep 100? Or finish second in FL State Track Competition to an eventual Olympic Medalist
You continuing in your poor attempt to argue and/or change the narrative is futile

Well semantically, you've almost got a point. But you're inferring your own meaning into my words there. I know sarcasm can be hard to pick up over the Internet, so I can go back and edit those posts jnto blue font for you if you want. It might be easier to understand for you that way.
