Lol. I love when the 'tapout' gang storms these threads anytime a recruit puts over another school. Didn't see anywhere in that article where he committed.

I think we get one if not both. Butch was near first and has been in on Hardeman since 10th grade. UGA treated him like the fat ugly chick at the end of the bar until last year. Warrior...You can bet Dale Jones will factor in heavily.

Alabama has a better game day experience with than Tennessee?...BULLCRAP! When were winning..NOBODY has anything on us in that department. My son is a diehard UGA fan, and he loves going to UT games with me just for the experience. He says UGAs is nothing like it.

It's a good Gameday experience. Though you're right IF (the operative word here) we are winning no one rivals Knoxville. I agree with your son, Athens is kinda meh.

While it does happen (Peyton) legacy players rarely break the family lineage (KMac, Bates et.al.). I believe Hardeman will never forget being disrespected and ignored by Richt. Respect is huge with kids and he is fully aware that Butch never flinched and has been with him for a long time

Yeah, Alabama doesn't have a better atmosphere. As good, sure...but not better. Not when we are winning and Neyland is rocking.

Same here. Didn't we have a similar article pop up after Tavien Feaster visited is in the summer. And then he reaffirmed his commitment to Clemson.

I think we get Mecole in the end.

Please forgive me...I tried, but my son and daughter were born in GA. They lived with their mom and her bulldog lovin family till they were 4 and 5. I could never overcome that. My boy does love the Vols he just loves UGA more. It breaks my heart.

You come in starting ish about people predicting he's not coming here. Ever think it might be the last straw for people? I've not thought he was coming here for some time. His Bama visit and his ensuing comments about how awesome Bama is and in the same paragraph saying his TN visit wasn't nearly as good was more reason for me to believe he's not coming here.

Every year we get all pumped about these elite top ten athletes and we never get them.

I'm not worried about what people think that have no relevant information to this kid's recruitment. I'm more interested in what the kid, his parents, his coaches, legit analysts, and even people with a track record such as OV. Last I checked it's a discussion board. If I get annoyed by opening a thread and see more of the same whining and gnashing of teeth, I'm probably going to respond.

And what do you mean by every year? We have got back to back top 5 classes. To do that I would imagine we had to get some elite talent or we wouldn't have ended up ranked so highly. It may come off as 'starting ish', but in reality it's more of a matter of responding to a bunch of grown men whining about a kid and declaring something to be the case without truly knowing one way or another. He's a kid! He just came off of a wild visit watching the #4 team in the nation beat the #2 team in the nation. I would imagine that is the most exciting game he has seen, seeing as though it's the freshest in his mind. If signing day was tomorrow, I'd say he is Bama's to lose. But it's not, and all he really did was add them to his top 3 and discuss other places he is going to visit. How about calming down and letting the season play out before throwing your mouse through your monitor.

Lol. You're the throwing a hissy fit because someone predicted he's not coming here. Maybe you should take another zanex if it bothers you so bad that someone would dare predict a player would choose another school. And OV has said he doesn't think he's coming here either.

As far as elite athletes, I'm talking about the Adore Jacksons and the Black Mambas of the world. We haven't signed an elite top ten athlete in forever.

I guess Kahlil McKenzie doesn't qualify from the 2015 class. For the record, Drew Richmond was #12.
