I mean I understand the purpose behind her post was family/motherhood related...

But being on a recruiting board, as a fan, I was trying to read into undertones as to which school he might be leaning now.

Edit: crap, UGA was mentioned first. She's clearly trying to throw us off the scent, and is putting the leaders second. BOOM!

I think it's very obvious that UGA, with Richt, was the number one choice. But of course that was already known.

It did seem like bama was kind of an afterthought, at least. Haha

I don't think Richt had anything to do with it. Right when Richt was fired Mecole was tweeting aboit Pruitt.

Uh, because he is possibly getting let go and will be jobless very soon?

He also left FSU a year ago after one season as DC and took the same job at UGA which is lateral at best.

Wow. I don't see anything happening there though. He doesn't seem to fit the dynamic of the staff. We all know he wouldn't take a lesser job than DC. We don't run a 3-4 defense and wouldn't make sense to start that process again Especially with next yr being our year. I wonder if they are just feeling him out on his options and saying if nothing works out come coach DBs here for a year.

It's not meant for that. This is how a good parent will lead and encourage a child but let the child make a decision. A good parent will provide guidance and advice and hopefully will see warning signs if needed as they make a decision but it is still their decision. If Mecole said I am not going to college anywhere, that would be a good time to be a parent and guide them to see how that is a missed opportunity and put a foot to them. But, for any child trying to decide which college and if all are available regardless if for sports or academics, they have to make the decision but need the parent to be a guide with the kids best interest in mind.

I would bet almost every school in the SEC has contacted Pruitt to some extent to gauge his next move. It would be crazy not to make the call in my opinion. Doubt Butch would overhaul Jancek and the defensive staff at this junction, but it doesn't hurt to discuss options.

Well it looks like CZA after visiting Mecole is now a candidate for the OC job at Maryland. Wonder who we bring in for the position coach when that happens? :)

Apparently not Tee. Too many people that know say there was a pretty bad falling out between he and Butch about him turning down the job then his Hurd comment
