thats what I think.

That's the one that started the trouble right there. He has never been the same since. I ridiculously high throw and a wicked shot in the back, he needs a full years rest and if that doesn't do it he is just done. Hoping he can recover but it's going to take some down time, IMHO.

North is pretty much gone and even if he becomes healthy, there is no proof he will remain healthy. Davis is much more talented than North.

Ummm...... Are we talking about the same North? He's as physically gifted as Davis any day. And he's taller, he just can't stay healthy. Our coaches act as if they don't know how to use a WR like him either.

some folks are saying Hardman and Davis are all but locks at GA.... first, why, if they spend a lot of time here and it seems they like UT, and second, if they are GA locks, why do we still have threads about them? Is Butch gonna pull a Richmond on both of them? Wish we could get both, we really need to continue to get that level of talent in here...

he wouldnt get open anyway. dude looks awesome in pads but he cant seperate and the staff doesnt know to use him either i agree. Its a bad combo. Plus hes made of glass anyway.

We are not getting both IMO. From Hardmans latest comments about Alabama, it doesnt seem to bode that well for us. Not saying he is a lock to not come here, but I feel like we are on the outside looking in. Also dnt rule out Michigan for Hardman. As for Davis, I think it will depend on what happens at UGA. The Richt situation will be important. If Richt stays, its going to be really difficult to pull Davis. If Richt happens to be fired, then all bets are off for both guys.

I think we miss on both Hardman and Davis. But honestly, I am wrong much more often than I am right when it comes to recruiting. So hopefully my trends continue with these guys.

I've never thought we had much of a chance with Hardman. His comments have always struck me as not being favorable to us. Davis seems more realistic, but difficult to know where we stand.

I will say one thing: as much as people like to complain about our offense, that Georgia offense is awful under Brian Schottenheimer. While our passing game has struggled at times, you can see great promise with it, and a lot of the "issues" come down to dropped balls and inaccurate passes. The former can be improved by the receivers themselves and I suspect the latter will improve over time, as well. Meanwhile, the O-line issues that plagued us for awhile are starting to disappear as our talent, experience, and depth improves.

Overall, I'd view the situation on offense at UT moving forward to be superior to the situation at UGA. Even if Mark Richt keeps his job, it's likely that Brian Schottenheimer continues to struggle with the offense. Alternatively, he gets fired, and UGA starts over again.

should be fun catching balls in that UGA offense. Its worse than ours by a mile right now and ours is average.

Our offense is statistically one of the best in the SEC, and one of the strongest in school history. We might not always enjoy how things work out, but saying it is "average" is factually incorrect.

It's fundamentally impossible to ever be satisfied with offensive production. I'm sure Baylor fans are weaving a tapestry of profanity every time they have to punt. It's not possible to be happy.

I really like the way we run the ball against everyone with success whether or not we are happy with the play calling (pass/run). We had 4th qtr leads vs OU, UF, and Bama so don't fix it if it ain't broke imo.

Thats only applicable to the Tennessee Vols. If were undefeated, yet were only averaging 250 yards a game and won all of our games by 1 point each, some Vol fans would find a way to complain.

I haven't checked the stats, but I have seen the end of every game and we haven't had a finishing drive yet. Every team has stopped our offense when they needed to. Oklahoma, Florida & Arkansas all stuffed us when they needed to. Georgia & South Carolina both had the ball with a chance to win because we couldn't possess the ball and score when needed. I'm sure the overall stats look good but we could play better in the clutch.

Honest question, does it really matter if we find ways to win?

So many of you forget that this is still a young team trying to learn how to win in the clutch, and how to make that final clutch drive a game winner. Unfortunately, all of these things just don't happen overnight. With all of the injuries, this team is still making progress.

Thanks. Fans complain when anyone brings up youth, but we are a sophomore team and seniors>sophomores. Further, 5 top recruiting classes > 2 1/2 recruiting classes. We will get good. Time.

Well as in gone I was meaning that he basically doesnt play anymore. I dont count North as an active WR until he actually plays a few games. I didnt mean he was going to the NFL.

Apologies. I misunderstood. I agree with you, North, through really no fault of his own, is very much an afterthought at this point. Gotta ride with Malone, PWill, Smith and company going forward.

We're middle of the pack in both passing (8th)offense and total offense (6th). It's really just our rushing offense (3rd), which is bolstered by our QB's outstanding running ability, that keeps us from being in the bottom half of the conference. So, we're a very good running team, but pretty average overall.

Yeah true. I mean I am still rooting for North but its just until he can actually play and produce on the field, consistently I just play it like he isnt even on the team. Yeah injuries suck.

Aren't we 2nd in scoring while playing one of the 5 toughest schedules in the country?

You just love to have a negative spin of everything.
