He also said he felt "really confident" about Tennessee's chances to sign Nigel Warrior and "confident" that Tennessee had a great shot to land Tyler Byrd, as well, because he thought Byrd would want to play with his "brother" Fils-aime.

Kinda hoping Gibbs throws in his verbal commit for 17 after Nigel gives him the phone, telling Jones his papers are being faxed or however else they may send documents nowadays.

That would help keep Higgins from wavering as well as help land other prospects. Good players want to play with good players.

Hearing from my close coaching staff source that Nigel has been a silent commit for 2 weeks now but doesn't want to announce until signing day just in case he didn't like his visit it wouldn't cause an uproar about him switching schools. My source said he had a great time on his visit and there wasn't a doubt in Nigel's mind about coming to Tennessee.

He only told you about Warrior? What about Byrd, Kongbo, Brown, Dickerson ......

He told me last weekend, he never mentioned any others but a big reason is because I just specifically asked about Warrior. I asked because it was right after that Dale Carter article about Nigel. I could ask him tomorrow, that wouldn't be a problem at all.

"Nigel Warrior - The feeling continues to be that Tennessee had a great weekend with him and his family and the Vols continue to be the team to beat. Certainly, don't expect Auburn or even LSU to go away, but Tennessee is in the driver's seat at this point."
