I hear some folks saying so and so making a last minute run at so and so. In fact this is a dead period, so if the player isn't making contact the university can't be. Derrick Brown for instance has went silent, so the folks saying auburn making late pushes for Warrior and Brown are full of it, IMHO. I doubt even further that Warrior has reached out to anyone just coming off the UT visit. What I'm really saying is that this year many of the experts are totally in the dark, pretty much like most fans. Especially where Brown is concerned, I think it is mere speculation with him because he and his family have played everything close to the vest. As far as Warrior goes, I just flat out do not believe he has reached out to Auburn and fully believe he will be a VOL.

Coaches can 100 percent call a recruit if they want to right now.

I may be wrong, I was under the impression that only the player could make contact starting sunday night at midnight until signing day. If I am wrong, my mistake. Either way Brown said he was not talking to anyone and was shut down to signing day. As far as Warrior, personally I think Auburn has whiffed with him. He is gonna be a VOL! GBO!

No, coaches can call the recruit. Brown said he wasn't talking to the media. He didn't say he wasn't talking to the schools.

Yep coaches can call, just read the guidelines again. My bad there. My feelings haven't changed. Very confident with Warrior, and feel we have as good as shot as any for Brown. Feel real good about Kongo, and feel like Byrd is a toss-up. Dickerson to FSU. JMHO. GO VOLS!

Nigel Warrior is an absolute must have for several reasons. There is no other true safety in this class. As much as I like TK2 and Evan Berry, there is very little depth. I have heard good things about Griffin, but we were very shaky to start this season when McNeil and TK2 weren't healthy. If Dooley hadn't blundered with Vonn Bell, things could have been very different this year. Getting Warrior might also allow Jauan Jennings to stay at WR. It doesn't hurt that Warrior's cousin is a top recruit in the 2017 class either.

There will be a total meltdown on Volnation if Warrior doesn't go to University of Tennessee!

A few years ago coaches during a dead period were only allowed 1 phone per week. I think that has changed but not sure about that

Big difference between 1 and unlimited calls during these days

When are y'all going to realize they do those goofy cb's to drum up interest in a recruit to sell more subscriptions? I was a member of Volquest for years and the same information is available here that is on their website. I would venture to guess that a majority of the time most "insiders" on the pay sites know about as much as we do when it comes to where a recruit is going.
