Cortez is almost even with JRM...so that's no real slight on Dillon.

It wasn't THE reason to do it...but a great side benefit. Hated Nike for a long time but they got chops!

All you Bates defeatists need to answer a question I frequently pose. Who you gonna sit to play him? Kirkland? Bates isn't a MLB. JRM? Already answered. Maybe Austin Smith but I don't think he's a rush linebacker. Maybe there's more flexibility in Shoop's system where Dillon's gifts can be utilized? Got 3 years.

I wanted to stay away from the comparisons but he does play a whole lot like him. And his instincts are similar.

DKJr will be a real problem this year.

He was creating a lot of mayhem late in the season for teams. Add another spring and fall, and a summer in the weight room, you he has a legit shot at All SEC or All American if he stays healthy.
