Love how Butch is recruiting OL and DL. Vols are going to be nasty in the trenches for years to come.

Love a pickup like this late especially with our lack of dline signees in 2016 class. If he had the grades earlier his recruitment would have been heated

Boom! If he plays inside our interior depth looks a whole lot better. Then if Alexis Johnson is able to come back we are in great shape.

He did have his grades. Kid is smart--gonna be a doctor. He was home schooled and the NCAA clearing house was the hold up.

BOOM to all the commits this week! Nice offer list for this guy and others...been a good week on the recruiting trail. It has been kinda dull up until recently. I love when we sign multiple recruits in a short time span.

These kids have great offer lists too so even if they are a 3*, Butch is arguably one of the best at evaluating talent at his level. Kongbo is a prime, high profile, example from last year...flew under the radar for the longest then blew up, but Butch recognized the kid was a beast bf other coaching staffs found out ab him.

Also, was he juco or what? Im sure it's covered in this thread but I'm at work and dont havr time to go through pages upon pages of this thread.

This is a Great get for us! With McDaniel having to count against the 17' class for scholarship accounting purposes; we'll have to begin "recruiting over" some of our weaker commits soon.
Time for the staff to assure and reassure guys like Foster, Chandler, Smith et al that there is plenty of room left for them in this class.

247 article saw said he would likely count towards 2016 class due to Corey Henderson possibly not qualifying and going to juco

Edit: from said 247 article "McDaniel became the 23rd member of the Vols' 2016 class, although only 22 of those players are expected to be at Tennessee this year after three-star wide receiver Corey Henderson — who signed with the Vols in February — signed with Blinn College in Brenham, Texas, in late May because of academic issues."
