Sam...I agree with you. I'm sure a lot of crap goes on, but to say it is as widespread and prevalent as many do...I'm sorry, I simply don't buy it.

To claim the Couch and Pearl penalties were exceptions and not the rule with the NCAA sounds too much like the "ESPN hates us" narrative. Yes, there are infractions but it's not the total lawlessness some folks seem to be convinced of.

NCAA is going to stick it to you when your AD is incompetent like Hamilton was. We lost the best BBall coach we have ever had and our AD did nothing to truly help the issue. NCAA stuck it to us because Hamilton waved the white flag as soon as he saw how serious the issue was. Pearl lied, Hamilton bent over, and the NCAA stuck it to us. I can promise you Bama, and most other schools, wouldn't do the same.

Hamilton is the reason for the collapse of Tennessee Athletics.

Watching Pearl win at Auburn makes me sick.

His players love him. He's doing the same thing there he was doing here.

It's one of the saddest situations in sports because our fanbase still loves the guy and we know the feeling is mutual, yet now we have to go head to head and watch him succeed just a couple hundred miles away. :cray:
