I have said from day 1 that both boys grew up as Auburn fans. Anyone that says they know where he is going is straight guessing. The family won't leak anything to anyone, even their friends are guessing.

How do you know that.I thought he was a Miss.State fan since both parents went to school their.

Yes it is and Freeze has done as well as anyone vs Saban, thus far. But through the first 3 years of their career vs Saban, Freeze and Gus have indentical records and Gus has played him much closer in losses.

Just got off the phone with my UT Coaching friend. He reassured me that Nigel is all vol. He said Auburn is trying to make a big pu$h but it's to late. He said Derrick Brown is still undecided, he said he had a great visit this weekend but he thinks Auburn is going to be hard to overcome. He said Kongbo is all ours unless for some reason he changes his mind before wednesday, and he really didn't say anything about Dickerson. Just said that he had a really good visit. There you go folks, that's all the info that I have.

That is what I have read too. At least he said that everyone is guessing. There is no info on Brown that I would trust at this point. He and his family have been too quiet.

As for UGA, anything can happen, from what I was told KB was texting people all excited about the helicopter the other day. To answer your
question, yes the boys do like MSU, its just to far for the family.

I have no doubt that these girlfriend ties may influence a recruits decision.

But as an older guy with some experience and perspective, for an sec caliber recruit, at this stage in their careers, to chose a school based on a girlfriend's proximity is myopic at best and moronic at worst!

You don't take sand to the beach young men!

I'm not sure he's your prototypical NG and I don't think he's an end in the 3-4. Both AU and GA run the 3-4 if I'm not mistaken.

Not saying 100% he is going to UGA. This is the same message I've had all along. His gf does not go to UGA, but UNG. But AtlantaVol must be legit. Don't know who he is, but the message he is reporting proves to me he is around the right network for good info.

Speculation runs rampant this time of the year because for the most part the recruits aren't talking so you have to search for sources that may or may not be accurate imo.

1. Both schools literally got new defensive coaches this year

2. A recruit like DB doesn't have to wonder about what position he's going to be playing this late in the game, the coaches have told him and most likely shown him examples of where he fits in the defense

I've tried to be optimistic all along, but this just ain't happening. Butch went all in on this cat and lost. If we end up just getting Warrior and miss on all the rest, that qualifies as a huge bust, and a horrible letdown.

Well with all due respect but duh! My point is he doesn't seem to be a great fit in a 3-4 defense. Much better suited as a tackle in a 4-3 defense. JMO
