Sucks that we lost out on this guy. However, lets not let this ruin our big signing day. Plus we should remember how ridiculous Miami fanbase looked last night with their knee-jerk reaction to Byrd flipping. Let's show this guy nothing but respect if you feel the need to tweet him or something. Go Vols!! Great great day today

It seriously doesn't bother me that he chose Auburn. I'm just really happy that he didn't chose UGA. Kirby Smart is already getting on my nerves. He won't be as easy as Mark Richt was in recruiting. Think about all the players UGA has lost over the years. I,mean they lost Callaway this year, to bUtch sTones.

I feel like UGA always had a top 10 class under Richt...

Won't be hard to recruit against once we beat them every year.

I like your thinking. I hope it takes a long time for their defense to be installed. I have no idea how Kirby is as a coach. You would think that anyone who worked for Saban for years would learn somethings. I hope he is even worse than Richt. I need therapy. I have lots of hate for Goergia lol.

For the record, it turns out that the guy who had a ton of confidence that Brown was coming to UGA really knows his stuff. He said this morning, before they committed, that things had changed for the worst for Derrick Brown and E.J. Price. When I saw EJ commit to USC, I knew that he must know what he's talking about and things had changed with Brown. Price was really really considered a lock for UGA, when I saw his face before his announcement, I CLEARLY saw a young man that wasn't happy with the decision that he was about to make. Not that it really matters at this point, but I'm pretty confident that both of these guys had late changes with their decisions.

I understand his decision if he was that close to the coaching staff. (or staph if you are a Miami fan) I wish him the best of luck unless he is playing against TN. We will be just fine. I am very happy with the players we did get and I am excited to see how good UT will be for the next few years.

GBO!

Not surprised here, anyone that says they had inside info was not getting it from the Browns or friends. I have family at the announcement who are really good friends with the Browns and they didn't know. Really good family and Auburn is lucky to have them on Auburns sideline.

This may not be popular here as many of us...including myself early on...were very complimentary of how he handled his recruitment. But, I've changed my mind...

They may not have trolled everyone, but they definitely played the game and did so to the max. I find it very difficult to believe that after probably 2 or even more years of being recruited, some of these guys (in this case Brown) are supposedly undecided.

I would bet if NSD was March 3rd and not February 3rd, they would have stretched this out until March 1st or 2nd. They are being complimented for letting staffs know ahead of time of his decision so the schools that came up short can move on to a plan B, but give me a break. As I stated above, they've been in the middle of this process for 2+ years...no way I'm going to think they did UT or even Georgia any favors by telling them 24-48 hours before signing day they weren't coming.

I wish the young man the best of luck. But, I sure don't think we should be giving him or his family any medals.

Kevin Steele over Shoop? Lmao whatever though. Auburn is **** right now while Tenneseee is on the rise. Good luck to Mr. Brown though. He handled his recruitment well.

Bag man strikes again.

Probably explains what he meant when he tweeted he made a mistake. Another mistake was DoubleDawg coming up in this thread giving lectures when his supposed inside information was as incorrect as all of the other supposed insiders. Hopefully, we aren't as gullible moving forward when it comes to these knuckleheads.

He better hope that Steele don't pull a Clemson and get the entire staff fired......bama hanging another 50 on them will do it....then the new staff will probably go 3-4 front and make him a NT which will suck for him.
