Having the final visit is huge. I maybe don't trust Butch yet in September, but I will never doubt Butch in January

This is interesting. I'm pretty sure OV said that Mecole told the coaches that he would give them a weekend long visit the last weekend before signing day. So we may have multiple elite GA prospects visiting the last weekend before the dead period and NSD. I like the possibilities here.

I'm hearing uga or au wants be a center piece of 3-4 defense due to size and strength which has us looking in

I was always under the impression that worked against both schools. Ties him up to where he just clogs the middle and doesn't get to attack many plays. Still Boom worthy that we get the final visit.

Exactly. We need to show him tape of how Shy was making plays up and down the field and tell him that's how we'll use him.

I trust Butch in a final visit.

I believe he will be a vol especially if we are his last visit before signing day..I think butch will have the same magic like he did with Richmond

UGA fans sure are bring critical of him on the 247 site, they wanted that last visit.

Both AU and UGA are hot messes right now. I still think UGA beats them head to head, AU is going to be lucky to finish .500. As crazy as their supporters are, would they can Gus?

If we lose out on this kid to Auburn... well, I just know that I'm absolutely tired of every time we go head to head with Auburn for an elite defensive linemen, we seem to lose out. Auburn is sitting there at 4-4 just like us. The difference is they are 2 years removed from a championship appearance and we are 2 years removed from the toilet. Sure looks like two programs headed in opposite directions to me. Yet they've still got the edge? BS. Not saying what you said is BS, just saying the fact Auburn continues to recruit like they do is B$.

Personally to me if I'm a recruit I see Vols trending up, UGA trending down, and Auburn is just a mess.

These guys have to see it too. I mean Richt and Malzahn may not be around much longer it seems

The Gus situation is really confusing. I mean most on here said he was the next best thing after the 2013 season. How he did all that in his first year and was such a great coach. Now look at him, what happened? Did teams just figure him out? I know he has recruited strongly.

Maybe he wasnt the genius that eveyone thought. Maybe he inherited a great roster that made him look a whole lot better than he actually was.

Yeah its bizarre, though they have been getting better every week. They're kinda hard to figure out where they will be next year.

Final visit before signing day....lol....this one is a no brainer.

Butch will lock him up. No doubt in my mind.

Agreed. We should be riding a huge wave of momentum while UGA and Auburn will have coaches on the hot seat.

DT - Shy Tuttle/Alexis Johnson
DT - Kahlil McKenzie/Derrick Brown
DE - Corey Vereen/Darrell Taylor


Talk about sick. That's 4 five star caliber DTs. And with Vereen's emergence, 4 sick pass rushing ends. Our D-line could be what Bama's is this season. DOMINANT.

I think that Philips could overtake Vereen over the offseason. We are going to have a sick 2-deep no doubt though.
