The battle looks to be somewhat uphill for Derrick Brown these last few weeks. From talking to several people connected in the SEC, Auburn feels good about where they are after Brown and his family visited the Plains this past weekend.

Georgia is up next and they will have a smaller number of official visitors in this weekend so look for them to put on the full court press.

Tennessee is still scheduled to receive the last visit for Brown, but it does sound like they will have to make up that ground.

Losing Christmas-Giles and now losing someone we thought we might get in Brown..

DT is not a good position to be thin at

We have no high school DTs in this class. How does that happen?

I guess there is still a small chance we land him. Although after that article, it seems pretty slim now. So I will just continue with my negative thinking and hopefully that will propel Brown to sign with the good guys.

Well we ain't lost him for sure, unless he cancels his visit. I wonder if he heard the kid committed while there. Shoop better earn his freakin paycheck next week.

2016 is finally the Vols time to take over the SEC E. That generally would put us one game (SECCG) within reach of the playoffs.

With Brown added to the DT rotation, with Khalil McKenzie and Tuttle, the D-Line would be downright filthy.

No way I'm giving up here with last visit. This time last year Richmond was a pipedream to most posters on here.

That last visit is magical.
