They generally underestimated the number we would take in the past two classes, so I don't see why that trend would suddenly be out of the question. If Butch can get all 5 he'll make the numbers work. This time, we aren't constrained by the raw total allowed in a given class. We are constrained by the 85 scholarship limit.
That means Butch can over-sign a few, knowing that normal attrition will bring the numbers within the margins. I wouldn't be surprised if some guys like Mixon, Cody Blanc, Joe Young, Colton Jumper and others don't transfer out.

Dontavius Blair needs to go if he's not going to sniff the field next year. He redshirted and should graduate in the Spring.
we are third at this point, behind Auburn and Georgia, respectively. It's a long shot but never count CBJ out especially with his last official.
Hopefully Warrior, Callaway, Blakely, PWill, Sapp, etc. can help!
I really do not understand how Auburn is in the running for all these players. They are coming off a terrible season and should have no hope in competing in a division that involves strong teams in Alabama, LSU, and Ole Miss. There literally is nothing attractive about Auburn at this very moment. I have no idea how they could possibly lure guys away from Georgia who have an intriguing new coach in Kirby Smart, a high touted incoming freshman QB and has a better chance of winning their division.
Of course, I feel Tennessee has more to offer than both of those schools going forward so I am left in awe as to why Auburn is even being considered.
In my case, Auburn should be investigated for recruiting violations if they find a way to land some of thy guys they are in for.
