Our way of "featuring" a WR was bringing in PW and having him run a fade and it never worked... He ran one route all year... He was prolly our 6th best guy atp... But gotta keep those promises

Ole Miss is starting to get annoying haha. They just keep racking up top class after top class after top class. Looks like they might get another #1 class too. Can't believe that.

I do hope though we can land another WR. I'm not extremely nervous about this class but I do have some slight concerns. Don't say I am a negavol either. I think Butch has done a fantastic job the past two years and obviously you can't have top 5 classes every year right away (although in the future I hope we do), but with the improvement this year and the shellacking of NU, you would think there would be more momentum right now than it seems.

No. After their top 5 class in 2013, they were just in the 15-20 range for 2014 and 2015.

247 has him saying it's down to UT and the two Mississippi schools. Mentioning Ole Missed and Mississippi St combined with no interest at all from UGA makes you think questionable academics. If that is the case we are not a factor here at the end of the day.

Them boys are getting benefits other than a free education. They cant beat out bammer, auburn, lsu by obeying the rules

With only 4 or 5 spots left available and the caliber of recruits still to make their official visits, I am not sure why people seem to think that we have no momentum.

For just the Jan 29th weekend, we have Nigel Warrior, Mecole Hardman, Derrick Brown, Landon Dickerson, Jaleel Laguens for sure coming in. Guarantano and Osborne are coming in for an assist. Also, there are reports that Binjimin Victor, Marquez Calloway and perhaps one other are reportedly coming in that weekend.

Seems to me that we have a decent amount of momentum heading into the home stretch.

FYI Victor is playing in All Star game that weekend. Won't visit anywhere. His UT visit is scheduled 1/15.

Victor and Callaway both in on the 15th, possibly Mecole too. Osborne isn't coming in to assist, he'll already be enrolled at UT.

Sounds like it's between us, Ole Miss, and Miss St. There is speculation that Ole Miss may lead but nothing concrete to my knowledge. He's visiting us in Jan. If that visit goes well, we should have a shot.

One thing I don't like is the wide receivers flipping sides every play. It seems like that would work against us instead of the defense.

I dont understand the fascination recruits have for ole miss .they were good this year but why do so many 5 stars that have k ow ties to the school want go there.i understand why a few of these four star recievers want to go because they throw alot but they cant take all of them.same goes for auburn except they were not that good and they dont throw alot why do players want to go there.especially wr they dont have as good a pass game as the Vols.i been to games at auburn and went there for a weekend when i was in army at ft benning.nothing special anout it and i lived in miss for five months in 91had a good job as apprentice pipe fitter but i hated living in miss only hill i ever remember seeing was when i was down in a hole.east Tennessee is a fantastic place got mountains,valleys,rivers and lakes .i know im a little biased but its true
