'16 KS DT Alexis Johnson (UT commit 6/16/15)

I have to respectfully disagree. Although the matchups for us vs Florida are terrible for us and thus resulted in our loss to them, I believe we have the more talented team overall. Oklahoma I believe is pretty close also, I would put us at even with them.

I think it was an SEC Network commentator said following the Oklahoma game that UT's #1 and #2 Db's, WR's, LB's, etc were just as good as Oklahoma's #1 and #2 DB's, WR's, LB's, etc. The difference was that they're #3 and #4 DB's, WR's, LB's, etc were better than UT's. Might be some merit to that.

We were not more talented than Florida and Oklahoma.

How'd we dominate them physically then. Florida doesn't have one player on offense that would start at Tennessee. Us not starting Martin opposite Sutton blew this one. Players(Moseley and Foreman) blew this game with effort.

Oklahoma game everybody is in love with Mayfield NOW. You forgot they were about to bench him until Jumper drove them down the field. Our coaches choked it up in the Oklahoma game. We were physically dominating until they got off the gas.

We have two strong SEC level recruiting classes. Two.

The other two classes that complete the roster are filled with mid level players at best with the exception of a couple of guys.

I felt like we outcoached and outplayed Florida for the first 3 quarters. That doesn't mean that we had more talent.

Disagree. Florida had out a few starters that game. We had more talent and experience on that day.

Off the top of my head.

People forget that the majority of our talent has been on campus 18 months or less.

We are not there yet. People scoff at Butch saying how long it takes to build an SEC roster but there is more than just a little truth to it. You don't just sign two recruiting classes and everything is ok.

The doo doo stain of Kiffin/Dooley doesn't wash off that easy.

Barnett, Tuttle, and JRM would've all started on their defense even then. Sutton would've started at CB. Martin would've pushed for time(remember they were recruiting him too).

Our whole offense would've started. They don't have one guy on offense that's better than our guys at the same position. The utilize their players better.

No, bone size is largely the same amongst people. That's why when morbidly obese people say, "There isn't a skinny person trapped inside of me" it's laughable. They are correct, there isn't a skinny person trapped inside of them, there is a normal person that is being suffocated and crushed to death while being overtaxed. It is a fate much crueler than simply being trapped.

These larger athletes have denser bones most likely and certainly have more muscle mass to support their frame.

Not true at all. Bones vary a lot. Like a whole lot. Someone like me would never survive big time football, bones are probably half as thick as an average D1 football player.

How????? Sutton and Martin aren't taking a back seat to anybody at CB.

As a whole - at the time of the UF game.

McNeil, Moseley, Foreman were all less than elite in September. Randolph is solid not elite.

Martin wasn't even starting.

Foreman is much improved now, but he wasn't playing at the same level when we played UF.

They got fortunate that day. That is all. They don't utilize their players better. Over the season that has proved to be ridiculous.

Not true. Antonio Callaway would instantly be the best receiver on our team. He's special. Brandon Powell might also start for us in the slot.

No the hell they wouldn't. In that game North and Pearson played. Also P.Williams was out there. Those two dudes were given the chance to make plays. They aren't better than our WRs.
