'16 KS DT Alexis Johnson (UT commit 6/16/15)

Who does the JUCO evaluating for 247? Good lord they have some horrendous rankings. Alexis Johnson an 86 overall? That is beyond laughable. They've obviously not looked at a second of his film.

I know most services rank the JUCO guys either after the summer or after their season ends. ESPN does this.

I was trying to find some information about Johnson from before and found he was actually a 6'2 220 DE in high school.

Apparently he had a nice sophomore season at Mount Zion and was getting some interest from colleges (as a DE). Then on the first game of his junior season he tears his ACL and is out for rest the season. He was just getting back to healthy at the start of his senior season (said he was 90%, so not yet fully healed), was 6'2" 220 and playing DE. His coach described him as very athletic and said they planned to use him at TE in certain packages. He kind of drops off the internet after that but anyways thought some of yall might find that interesting...Dude has put on like 60 lbs since high school...and still moves well considering.
