'16 MS CB Nigel Knott

Bama involved and in Ole Mi$$'s backyard? Look for this recruitment to get dirty before it's all said and done.

^this is what I mean Lynx. We'll be in it til the end

Recruits tell different analysts different things. A lot depends on how questions are posed. I'm not going to say P Fort is wrong, but I think we would be very naive to believe that Ole Miss won't be very much in this recruitment.

Didn't say they wouldn't, but you know as well as anyone as long as you've been here that VQ staff is better than a lot of the national guys, and more conservative

Ive been calling this one for a few weeks. He left FSU talking about how great his visit was but didnt commit. For me its not even a question of if but when.

On 6-22, Notorius had this response to GFW's post "feel very good about this one". I hope nothing has changed in this one, because those two have proven to have solid info when they make these types of comments. Was hoping he might commit this week while at The Opening. I know GFW is out of pocket, but wondering if you still feel the same Notorius?

The last update/article I saw on 247 was really odd. He said he was about to commit to FSU then seemed to say his new leaders were Ole Mi$$ and Miss State. He seemed all over the place. With all the handler types and nut-case boosters in that state, I bet in the end he stays home.

I think Ole Miss in the end but I hope I'm wrong. That place is good about putting a lot of "incentive" on kids staying.

I refuse to get my hopes up about Mississippi kids coming here. Too many shady things going on in that state for me to be confident.

Don't know where he'll end up, but I won't be surprised if it is Ole Miss. I mean he is an Ole Miss legacy. It's not always about the money, ask Kahlil or TKJ.

I hate to say this but if he does not come play for the big orange i would rather see him go to bama or anywhere but ole miss ,its just too much to have that bunch in oxford and their idiot fan's. coming on bragging about there success.and our lack thereof. In recent years ,but it would be nice to get the number one player in Mississippi

Send him to Ole Miss. We won't have to play him every year guaranteed.

They'll drop off after this season. Their defense will still be stout, but they won't have the QB, OL, or RBs to make much noise in the west this season. Then Tunsil, Nkemdiche, Treadwell, etc will head to the NFL and they'll be back to being bottom dwellers.

I wouldnt write off Ole Miss. They are taking advantage of their recent success as they are currently ranked with the #6 recruiting class on 247. Also, one of those recruits happen to be highly rated QB Shea Patterson

I think Patterson has a lot of potential, but Ole Miss's OL will have to come a long way before he can be much of a factor for them.

And they won't have Richmond or Tunsil to watch his blindside once he's on campus :)

Agree. Ole Miss will be a good team as long as Freeze is there. He's a good recruiter and coach.

Per Fort

Knott is definitely someone this staff wants but so do Alabama, Oregon, FSU and those teams seem to be just ahead of Tennessee. As of now, I think Knott takes an official to Tennessee, but there are others ahead of them.

The Class of 2016 talent said he may be in attendance to see the Volunteers take on Oklahoma at a sold out Neyland Stadium in Knoxville on Sept. 12.

“People were talking about how the first game was going to be good, but I just don’t know yet,” said Knott, who added offers from Missouri and TCU this month.

Just days ago the speedster had an MRI done that resulted in the discovery of a torn knee meniscus, and he will be out 8-12 weeks. Much, if not all, of his senior season will be missed.

The No. 4-rated cornerback in the South told IT that Germantown does not allow students to graduate in December. He is committed to play in the Under Armour All-America Game in January.
