"Yes sir," Knott said. "When I was there I just had a lot of fun being around the coaches. It felt like home. The players. It just felt like the right school."
That would no longer be the case though according to Knott.
"It is changing a lot," Knott said of his list and recruitment. "It is back down to like, towards that top ten. When I stopped and thought about what everyone has, I kind of feel like Florida State is not the only one that has that. But they have a lot of what I like.
"I was talking to one of the people committed (to FSU), and I was like man, I've been to all these other schools so now it just kind of feels like I need to wait," Knott added. "He just told me that every time I come back (to FSU), I am going to get that feeling again."
Knott said he is working towards a top five at this point. He said he doesn't currently claim a clear-cut favorite, but that his list would likely be topped by Ole Miss and then Mississippi State.
