When dealing with a child that didn't attend UT why have sour grapes? You sound like some of those Auburn or UGA heathens, we are Vols. We have Butch. What did the ice lady in that Disney movie with the snowman say "Let it Goooooo"

Speaking the truth doesn't have to be sour grapes. I personally do give to turds about Vonn Bell. There's a way to leave your community and spurn your home team and be classy about it. Nothing classy about how he trolled his own community, TN fans, and TN coaches.

Not sour at all, he is actually a very nice guy. I was just commenting on the fact that he was never headed to UT and it didn't matter in the end. He played the game very well haha.

Had Dooley not been the head coach during the majority of his recruitment it may have been a different story but even then I would say that it was a long shot at best. A lot of people were wrong, including myself.

So 'playing the game' equals lying to people's faces? Speaks volumes about character or the lack there of. It also tells me a person needs to grow a set. He was 18 at the time, so he should get a little bit of a pass. But if he doesn't recognize it as a character flaw, he will end up like many adults who laugh it off because that's who they are themselves. Truth is I don't care about Bell's recruitment. The whole point of my post was coaches of other schools send committed kids to other schools to sabotage recruiting. Trey Johnson was sent here for that purpose, and that's a fact. We don't need some kid like Knott trying to do the same thing. All the Von Bell stuff is off the beaten path.

You just can't let it go, can you? You can believe what you want to believe. It is what it is. You can choose to believe that he changed his mind at the last second or you can believe that he played the UT coaching staff the entire time. Either way, he was not a Vol.

Well, technically some have said Preston Williams did the same type of thing around this time last year when he got sent home from one of his last OVs.

So, and I am not saying you were, but if you approved of PW's actions then, don't criticize others for doing the same type of thing. Recruiting has it's ugly side, and everybody does things that might seem a little classless. I would just hope karma bites them in the ass, but I wouldn't get my panties in a wad over it,
