I saw Florida beat Florida Atlantic for a recruit the other day. I like it when programs admit in May that their recruiting is in shambles.

Gotta look at things in the right perspective. As a Florida Atlantic fan you would have to be happy that you are competing with Florida for recruits. :eek:lol:

A poster on VQ asked about Marquill's status after the UF offer

Yes. Still solid. His father told me "still all Vol" after the Florida offer.

He's talked about taking a few other visits in the fall but he doesn't have anything set up and anyone would have to do a ton of work to flip him. He's really close to the staff in Knoxville.

Yep! This give the Vols a chance to really pass them in the recruiting game and on the field as well. If the Gators have another bad class then it will set them back at least a couple of years.

If we can finally beat them this year we will have a good shot at getting two in a row over them and putting the streak in the rear-view for good.

Fwiw, Gerry Hamilton is the guy that tweeted the Pornhub link while giving an update on Roquan Smith in January. I'm surprised he wasn't fired.

"— Four-star Tennessee cornerback commitment Marquill Osborne was really impressive to me today. He showed good speed and technique, and he showed he could be physical when necessary, too. I didn't really see him lose a one-on-one rep all day, and he was never really out of position. Osborne said the recent offer from Florida put the Gators on his radar a little bit, and he's thinking he probably wants to take a few official visits this fall. Florida and LSU currently are the two teams most likely to get visits from him in addition to Tennessee. But he said his commitment to the Vols is still solid."

That's nice and all but be careful when you commit and start taking visits. Especially considering how small this class will be. This staff doesn't get left at the alter at the end.
