Being from Hialeah, you know South Florida is nowhere near Gainesville. If he does flip, it'll have nothing to do with geography. Even if his parents move back, an hour and a half direct flight from FLL to Knoxville on Allegiant airlines that averages about $60 each way is a heck of a lot better than a 5 hour drive on the turnpike to Gainesville.

when the gators are garbage this yr i bet this all goes away.

doubt UF sucking has any factor unless Mac is replaced after one season.

Latest update:

"Tennessee cornerback commit Marquill Osborne (Cornelius, N.C./Hough) said Clemson offered early this morning.

Osborne said Tigers defensive backs coach Mike Reed made the verbal offer.

Osborne said he plans to visit Clemson "before the season."

Florida offered last week. Osborne, a south Florida native, said the Gators are still "number two" with Clemson now "number three."

It's his 11th verbal offer.

Two of his high school teammates, Mark Fields and Van Smith, and another one of his 7-on-7 teammates, Kaleb Chalmers, signed with Clemson last cycle.

"They got to be doing something if they got Mark, Van and Chalmers," Osborne said. "Coach Reed is cool."

Osborne still plans to visit Tennessee and Florida this summer as well.

The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 21 cornerback and the No. 9 prospect in North Carolina in the 2016 class by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings."

On the flip side, a 5 hour drive is a heck of a lot cheaper than 120 RT per person.

Is that why he was recruiting players at the Charlotte Opening to Tennessee? To flip them to Florida? The kid is walking around in orange and white socks and gloves.

This can't be your line of reasoning when it comes to 18 kids???
We hear and see this cycle after cycle then a kid flips or decommits.

You come out better just saying you believe the kid is firm and he's giving you no reason(s) to think otherwise.

So I'm confused...he's going to flip to Florida THEN sign with Clemson while wearing Tennessee gear? :loco:

I'm sure there are cheap flights from Miami to Gainesville. Hard sell to say Knoxville is closer. Butch will get the good players so I don't worry about one recruit.

Take a closer look at Allegiant as their listed prices aren't what you end up paying. Their the only place I've ever seen that charges for a carry on. Plus, they only fly those routes 2 times a week like Tuesday and Friday.

Yeah but youd come out alot better by not speculating about a recruit that is not going to Florida.

Allegiant charges for a carry on? Noted. That is ridiculous.

I don't think we should be too concerned with how this plays out. Last year Cherry took some visits and we replaced him with Kirkland. We replaced Kendall with Guarantano.

If he stays, awesome. If he doesn't, CBJ will find someone else.

If he is scared of horses like EB was then he won't like Coach Mac. Man has a face that should be on a KY derby horse
