If healthy? Which he has never been.
If we take him we'd need to drop someone in the 85 by fall and borrow a spot in next classes 25 (or 24 or 23 or whatever we're gonna be down to by then) to take a chance that he would actually be healthy for the first time in his career. His career path is similar to dkjr but maybe even less healthy. These are valid concerns that some of you guys choose not to acknowledge when going on about how dumb some of us are about not wanting to get him.
2 I think.
Dickerson, a redshirt sophomore last season at FSU, sprained an ankle in the season opener against Virginia Tech. He returned versus Louisville, but suffered an 'unspecified injury' in that game and did not return the rest of the season. He only appeared in a total of two games in 2018. In 2017, Dickerson started the first two games before missing the final nine due to injury. He started seven games as a true freshman in 2016, but had his season cut short due to an ACL tear.
Healthy and 2 years left? Yep, sign him up!FSU OL Landon Dickerson back in the transfer portal
Evidently he is currently healthy and was expected to start this year for FSU.
Starting offensive lineman enters the transfer portal...again
He was healthy and expected to start at the beginning of each of the last three years too. I'm just pointing out the risks and costs. Imo they are pretty significant. Obviously most people think he's worth it. I'm less confident. If we get him I hope he stays healthy and balls out. He hasn't shown he can do the first part so it's hard to expect it.FSU OL Landon Dickerson back in the transfer portal

A veteran starter for The one power 5 team that actually had a worse OL than us, that has never completed a season healthy, and has actually been getting worse and worse health wise. He is Chance Hall. He also takes away a spot for a four year guy.A veteran lineman from a power 5 is a take for us right now, end of story.
Yup. Would be huge to get this kid.Could potentially have 4 former 5 star OL starting next year if Trey gets good news and a 5th year senior at Center. O-Line could go from abysmal to Top 3 in the league.
