'16 NC OG Landon Dickerson

Yup. Would be huge to get this kid.

Yes, he's had injuries and it's risky. But it's 10000% a risk worth taking. This kid was a 5 star out of HS, started as a freshman at FSU, had some injuries but is now healthy and has TWO years left to play. Tennessee has had major OL woes and needs all the help we can get. Not wanting this kid in Orange might be the most negavol, LOM, dumbest thing I've seen posted in awhile.

We complain about having a terrible OL. Here's a possibility of having a plug and play starting OG fall into your lap. "No, thanks. Waste of scholarship." Hahahhaha some of these fans I tell ya, something special.
Haha what's funny is most of the people who are hesitant about wanting this kid are pretty optimistic. The only one I've seen that's not is catbone and even he's been pretty optimistic lately.

We may not know what we get in Dickerson but we know what we have on our roster. If healthy which it seems like he is, you roll the dice on him. He’s likely an immediate starter.

I don't disagree with that. But it's still a costly take with a lot of risks. People act like he's gonna change our whole season when he hasn't even played more than half a season.
Improvement on Oline will be the main reason this season turns around. If there’s a chance this kid is better than who we already have in our starting 5 then you take him. Hell I think you have to take him for depth.

The fact that he didnt play much last year makes me feel better because Florida State was one of the only schools with a equally bad or worst offensive line than Tennessee had.

Or you will probably be saying the same thing Catbone said in a couple of years. Too many wasted schollys is why we can't make a bowl game
Nope, that is not the reason we can't make a bowl game. The players were never properly developed is the major reason we can't make a bowl game.

That's a reason too. But recruiting failures play a big part too.
We have consistently been losing to teams with recruiting rankings worst than us (Mizzou, Vandy, USCjr) and very rarely beat teams who recruit better than us in terms of rankings.

Examining FSU’s OT depth after Landon Dickerson re-enters portal

Dickerson’s name was back in the transfer database on Wednesday, three months after he put his name in the portal. This time, Dickerson had a ‘Do Not Contact’ designation. He could still take his name out of the portal at any time, but the fact that he’s publicly explored the possibility of a transfer twice in just a few months is telling. Dickerson is on track to graduate this summer, per a source, which would open up the option for him to be a graduate transfer who can play immediately if he does indeed go elsewhere.

BJ was recruiting undersized linemen to get in the way of opposing 300 pound linemen. That worked at Cincinatti, and against Big 10 teams, but it didn't work in the SEC. LD is a legit Power5 Lineman.

Injury prone. Chance came in as a FR coming off of injuries.
