'16 NC OG Landon Dickerson

From 247 at the Charlotte Opening:

"Landon Dickerson - A mountain man with a high threshold for pain and strong work ethic. Could play right tackle given his run blocking attitude. Projects best as a nasty guard. Strong as an ox. Virginia Tech and Tennessee are tied on top. Showcased his underrated athleticism as he dominated pretty much every battle on the edge. Has legit college-ready strength."

Seriously in my 7 years of following recruiting I've never seen "high threshold for pain" makes me wonder what he did to warrant that note.

Grandson of Paul Bunyan?

We need this kid in a bad way.His mean streak to go along with JJs will go along way to getting our oline playing physical and mean again.

We say this about every OL recruit
No not really. I remember the days of the TVA as our OL.To be a great OL you have to want to destroy the person you are suppose to block every play. While also being controlled enough emotionaly that you don't get drive stopping penalties while doing damage.Takes a special person.

"While deadlifting the front end of a Ford F-350 for reps, his shoulder dislocated on the 13th rep. He took a swig of water and proceeded to go into drills, resetting his shoulder while driving another defensive lineman into the earth, face first". - Rivals

You forgot to mention the stubbed toe he didn't even flinch at.

Bill Brasky imo.

"Did I ever tell you about the time I went horseback riding with Brasky, but there weren't any horses around? Well, Brasky throws a saddle on my back and rides me around Wyoming for three days. Well, wouldn't you know it, my stamina increases with each day and I develop tremendous leg muscles. So anyway, Brasky decides to enter me in the Breeders' Cup, right, under the name Turkish Delight. And I'm running in second place, and I'm running and I break my ankle! They’re about to shoot me. Then someone from the crowd yells out, God bless him, 'Don't shoot him, he's a human.'"

Top 5 SNL skit of all time

Bump for Kirby. I don't think RT is out of the question but time will tell.

Nice did not see that before. He is an athletic guy. Good footwork, quick feet, stayed low, and showed some power. What's not to like? I say sign this kid up if he wants to be a Vol.

All the "experts" say guard but I see a lot of versatility. Either way, I think he's going to be a stud.
