No one on here is going to be disappointed if this kid's a Vol. The "no way we tell a 5 star no" narrative isn't overly realistic. There is a way.

I don't think it will be to anyone's "chagrin" if we get Dickerson. Every UT fan on here would be thrilled to get a lineman of his caliber, I'm sure. People are just discussing and speculating about different scenarios.

I happen to be buying what multiple people have said in terms of 21 being the max we'll take this year, meaning we have only 4 spots available. IF that's the case, and IF Brown, Warrior, Kongbo, Dickerson, and Byrd ALL want in, who do you turn away? Maybe Butch could find a way to make the numbers work. No one on here really knows. It's just discussion for entertainment (or in some cases OCD) purposes.

If that's the way it turns out it will be pretty underwhelming IMO. I like the class but we would have missed on a many of our main targets plus no HS DT in this class is worrisome. Not a bad class but not what we've become accustomed to.

Hopefully we'll have a monster 2016 on the field and it will translate into an unbelievable 2017 class.

If Moss is 3 I will be disappointed. No Brown/Kongbo/Dickerson would be a fail.

Final days are always rough, especially those that provides recruiting information. Hard to separate fact from fiction. Couple that with the posters that navigate from other boards like people going to the gym after New Years, and you have a recipe for a volatile couple of days.

I could be totally wrong, but my take differs somewhat. I think he became more aware of being the #1 JUCO, wanted to check options more thoroughly and enjoy the roll more fully. Did UT hold up in that process? My feeling is that Tennessee did. Doesn't mean that we will be his final choice, but I do think Vols compared well and continued in the competition. jmho

Both Fort and Hubbs are still saying Dickerson is not a take unless we miss on several. Said defense is the priority. What I'm not sure of is why Moss would be a take over Dickerson.
