Really? Wow that's profound. Point being nobody on this website has any idea. From what we do know it seems very unlikely that he ever plays another down of football. But that is speculation based on limited info. "The ship had sailed" is a strong way to word something that is pure speculation.

I'll wait for the medical opinion of the university medical staff that has all the information to say it is over before declaring it from my common sense. And this is coming from someone that spent a week in ICU with nearly fatal blood clots in her lungs.

Whoa whoa whoa....way too much logic in that concept. My assumption skills based on limited info are ELITE, ELITE I tell ya. Don't need to see the opinion of the medical professionals who are actually treating him.

Friends, there are 12 other threads we can talk about Treys health. Dickerson was a huge miss in that class and like someone said, this is a chance for CJP to right another of Butchs wrongs. Can we keep it on topic??

It is not pure speculation. There are known facts involved. It will take a real miracle for Trey to ever suit up as a Vol again.

I think you could say with a large degree of certainty that he will not play anymore, and while you are right and you can't tell someone what to think about it, you can sure as heck tell them that it is a pipe dream fairytale they are thinking.

Trey Smith has now had multiple issues with blood clots. Trey Smith plays football, a violent contact sport.

That is not speculation. Those are facts.

After reading your post I checked their projected depth chart for 2019 and they appear to be thin at OG.

I would like to have Dickerson if for nothing else because they need him.
But I am just mean that way.
