Yeah public. If he was wooden face to face, I doubt he’d be the acclaimed recruiter. When you say that about Pruitt channeling personal magnetism, are you meaning his public persona? Because from everything I've ever heard and seen...HIS..guys run through walls for him. I don't think we ever see the JP that the team sees, and I don't think we ever will.
Not sure we are looking for grad transfer OL, but if we are Braun and Jonah Jackson from Rutgers are highly rated. Doubt we take anyone that couldn't play immediately. Also, I'd think we'd be more interested in DL than OL, but that's JMO.I wish we could get Parker Braun from GA Tech. He is top returning guard in the country. He visited Florida last week and is also going to visit Texas and Ohio State.
We will be saying, "Wow, he really flipped it quick. It has helped us get the SECCG three straight yearsPosts like these are hilarious in hindsight...and I’m not meaning to call SS out because I believed this same kind of thing about BJs culture whole heartedly at the time...
Makes me wonder what we’ll be saying about Pruitts culture in 3-5 years
Former Vol target and FSU offensive lineman Landon Dickerson hit the transfer portal on Wednesday. Sources tell Volquest that some around Dickerson would love to see him pair up with Will Friend to play at Tennessee. The Vols finished runner-up for him coming out of high school. Watch Alabama in this one though as the Tide are chasing him pretty hard as they look to add depth and fill potential holes in their offensive line.
i just wouldn't get my hopes up about Trety Smith. blood clots in the lungs aren't something that go away. and the treatment to make sure won't come back, makes it almost impossible to play contact sports.....If you could add Dickerson let Trey Smith red shirt this year to work on his health. Then think what the OL could be 2020 with Morris and Wright having a year under their belt.
Nothing against Trey but I'm already counting him out. If somehow he makes it back, it will be a very pleasent surprise. Otherwise, live long and prosper young man!i just wouldn't get my hopes up about Trety Smith. blood clots in the lungs aren't something that go away. and the treatment to make sure won't come back, makes it almost impossible to play contact sports.....
i mean, i guess nothing is impossible, but i think we probably need to at least recognize that he might not play ever again....which is fine, considering the alternative. kids have died because of this and it going undiagnosed or treated.
