Ok. Sorry. But “one of” the best at FSU? That line was worse than UTs.
It is a loss for FSU, they have nobody else. But, he was still a liability at guard. No idea what the state of the OL was at FSU because I didn’t watch them but one player doesn’t make the whole unit. FSUs own writers said it’s a loss and he was the most reliable when healthy. Ill take that, especially with UTs OL.
Posts like these are hilarious in hindsight...and I’m not meaning to call SS out because I believed this same kind of thing about BJs culture whole heartedly at the time...
Makes me wonder what we’ll be saying about Pruitts culture in 3-5 years
You missed the @InVOLuntary and @volin8188 posts about when we all thought VFL34 was Travis Stephens

Kids a player. Started two years and was injured last season. Mails people. All-ACC, All-Academic, and has two years to play. Wanted to be a Vol all along but butch f’d that up
When you say that about Pruitt channeling personal magnetism, are you meaning his public persona? Because from everything I've ever heard and seen...HIS..guys run through walls for him. I don't think we ever see the JP that the team sees, and I don't think we ever will. All anyone can do is give the guy that was hired time to prove one way or the other. There are those that give the HC a wide swath and lean their interpretation positive and there are those that fired the guy when his name didn’t match their personal acceptable list...and those in between. No one should apologize or crow when their team’s coaching fails. My take on Pruitt is that he’s technically solid and a good to great recruiter. Wish he could channel a little more personal magnetism, but there hugely successful coaches that don’t. My approach works for me.
