I think it took the extra bowl practice time to add stuff like this and will be used in the future. You just can't add things like this in the middle of the year and work on it when you are preparing to play. I think CBJ is growing as a coach and learning you can keep the integrity of your offensive philosophy while adding other things that will make it better.

Hurd showed how dominant he can be with a lead blocker. I really hope we do that more.
In fairness, Jalen has had a lead blocker quite a bit this season. Not FBs from the I-form, but pulling linemen and TEs. We run ALOT of basic "Power O" run plays from the shotgun... Also a bread and butter play of ole Urban Meyer at OSU.
