Why is Carin Fils-Aime never in the conversation as one of our RBs that will contribute. He was a four star out of Fla. Yet VN never even seems to consider him. We haven't really seen him to even know if he can do anything or not. I know he is a bit undersized but with better S&C maybe that can be helped some. Just curious as to what I am missing as to why everyone seems to have written him off already.

He had some great runs last year. Just didn't have the ball in his hands at the end of them. I think will be much better this year though.:good!:

I remember you, you're a family member or someone close to the family, right? So, his plan is already UT next year? So, he'll be in the 2018 class as an EE or next summer?

My understanding is that he will be attending Hutchinson CC this season and will transfer and enroll for the 2018 season, so he would have to be a 2018 counter.

But, I do not see Tennessee being interested in bringing him in. I may be dead wrong on this, but with Chandler, Dixon and Grant being youngsters and Kelly being a senior, I don't see us taking a transfer when there are highly rated RB's in our own state coming up in the 2019 class.

You take this guy in a heartbeat. We don't have any proven depth at RB. The incoming recruits may turn out to be great, but Brian Darden was supposed to as well. There are other positions where you can make a sacrifice if you are worried about numbers.

Bama lists Emmons at 6-0 220. That is why I think we should take a look. We don't have that dynamic, big back on our roster right now. Everyone, plus the two committed guys are in the 175-195 range, with Trey Coleman being the only RB of comparable size to Emmons.
