'16 NC RB BJ Emmons

I think Saban knowingly recruits talented guys who will likely never start for the Tide due to depth chart logjams just to keep them away from other SEC teams.

Maybe back in the day when there were no scholly limits....we know The Bear routinely did it. But now, with 25 per year limit, I don't think even Sabah can pull that off.

You take Emmons all day long without question. A former 5* RB that we wanted desperately coming out off high school. A rotation of Kelly, Emmons, and Chandler in 2018 would be one of the best backfields in the nation.

Don't forget Fils-Aime. I don't understand why everyone forgets about him.

I don't forget about him. I love the kid, but i don't know if he'll ever be more than a change of pace, third down back. Some might call me crazy but, the wild card in the backfield might be Timothy Jordan over the next couple of years.

His in game carries were not impressive. Also, he is never mentioned by the media as "impressing" during practices or workouts.

Granted, limited carries with the back ups, but that is the reason he is overlooked. Tear off a 40 yard run here and there, and you won't have to worry about that anymore

Good RBs follow Good OLinemen like night follows day. thats why bama has 2 or 3 each yr that Satan picks from.

Hopefully OL at Tennessee will step up this yr and make Kelly and Co stars. Then they'll consider Tennessee also.

I agree with this. With Kelly you could tell the minute he hit the field at Kentucky his freshman year he had talent. CFA looks a little unnatural at the position and hasn't shown much in limited carries. Would love it if he proves me wrong but I think he will get passed up.

More like don't forget Tim Jordan. He's the guy who will challenge Ty Chandler for that backup spot after John Kelly.

D4H did you just steal my Tim Jordan comment for yourself? Not serious, I think we both agree that Jordan is the surprise sleeper prospect in this last class.

He got injured-ankle injury I believe- and had surgery. He will be in Knoxville in 2018. He knows he made a mistake by rushing towards Saban's promises of being the number 1 guy in Bama.He is going the Kamara route and I am sure he has been talking to Alvin.

Oh holy crap! 🤞 Dude I hope you're right
