'16 NC RB BJ Emmons

That's what I would tell him too.

I wouldn't let Dixon go without a fight honestly. We knew that was going to be a fight going all the way up until he signed. If Emmons wanted in I would find a way to get him in. People forget though that Emmons was flaky as hell during his recruitment, it's not close to a sure thing that he would sign here. Do we pass on a kid that's committed but visiting, that we knew would take visits when he committed, for a kid that had proven to be flaky as hell in the past?

If Emmons wants in, they will make room. Jordan and Coleman are filler. Fils Aime may not end up being SEC caliber either. Emmons is a game changer.

This. We already have a bunch of filler RB's on the roster and Dixon is now scheduling visits all over the place. You make room without question for a guy like this. The staff would be crazy not to continue recruiting RB's at this point.

We need this guy. He was a Vol lean before Bama did whatever they did to get him eligible. I think we can get him if we go after him. Surely they will. This kid is legit

Yeah, I don't trust that info one bit

That sounds like recruiting coach speak from the coach speak master himself.

Jordan is definitely getting some summer hype. Can't wait to see what he looks like when the pads come on, hopefully he outplays his ranking.

That's true, but I also believe one of the knock's on him coming out of HS was durability and being injury prone, which is what kept all the good schools away from recruiting him.

I mean he had like a freak neck injury. As far as I'm aware, the 2 years he was here, that was the only injury he had. Minus some normal wear and tear.

I am no insider but I am very good friends with someone close to the situation. Coming out of HS it was not a grade issue but he was missing a few core classes and was able to get them completed. Sites assumed grades because it was mentioned academic concerns.

In regards to UGA he got pulled over in a car with friends and they had pot. He was suspended by his coach for 2 games. UGA backed off and their sites started saying it was because of grades but really had to do with the arrest and CMR taking heat for their players failing drug tests. He had not heard from UGA in months and then UA pushed for him.

In regards to the comparison of Kamara no where close. The only thing that can be compared between the two is that they both were injured to start their career at UA. Kamara was ahead of Henry by all accounts until the injury and then when he returned was down the depth charts and never was able to work his way back up(for whatever reason) and whined about it to anyone that would listen until he transferred. Emmons same thing he was 3rd on the depth chart due to other backs being injureduntil injured and fell behind Jacobs. But he never whined about it. Once Harris arrived this spring(new 5*) and Bo did not declare for the draft he saw he was 5th at best on the depth charts. He did not leave UA with some ill will like some want to imagine on here or other sites.

In regards to where he ends up it is hard to say. I know Clemson seems to be interested and both instate schools UNC & NC State. His father was a huge UT fan and he grew up watching games with his father. As the story goes that was the last thing those two did together was watch UT win a game and later that night his father was killed. He was like 10 at the time I believe. The one concern he had coming out of HS about UT was the coaching staff and the stability of them in the program. It would not surprise me to see him end up at UT because he always wanted to play in the SEC and his father wanted him to play at UT.

Whoever gets him will be very lucky. This kid plays with a lot of passion and always wanting to prove something.
