'16 NC RB BJ Emmons

I am no insider but I am very good friends with someone close to the situation. Coming out of HS it was not a grade issue but he was missing a few core classes and was able to get them completed. Sites assumed grades because it was mentioned academic concerns.

In regards to UGA he got pulled over in a car with friends and they had pot. He was suspended by his coach for 2 games. UGA backed off and their sites started saying it was because of grades but really had to do with the arrest and CMR taking heat for their players failing drug tests. He had not heard from UGA in months and then UA pushed for him.

In regards to the comparison of Kamara no where close. The only thing that can be compared between the two is that they both were injured to start their career at UA. Kamara was ahead of Henry by all accounts until the injury and then when he returned was down the depth charts and never was able to work his way back up(for whatever reason) and whined about it to anyone that would listen until he transferred. Emmons same thing he was 3rd on the depth chart due to other backs being injureduntil injured and fell behind Jacobs. But he never whined about it. Once Harris arrived this spring(new 5*) and Bo did not declare for the draft he saw he was 5th at best on the depth charts. He did not leave UA with some ill will like some want to imagine on here or other sites.

In regards to where he ends up it is hard to say. I know Clemson seems to be interested and both instate schools UNC & NC State. His father was a huge UT fan and he grew up watching games with his father. As the story goes that was the last thing those two did together was watch UT win a game and later that night his father was killed. He was like 10 at the time I believe. The one concern he had coming out of HS about UT was the coaching staff and the stability of them in the program. It would not surprise me to see him end up at UT because he always wanted to play in the SEC and his father wanted him to play at UT.

Whoever gets him will be very lucky. This kid plays with a lot of passion and always wanting to prove something.

You can only post on our board if you won your last game. Soooooo yeah you know what to do..... 😎😎😎😎

Tide Warrior, what have you heard from your side on Carvin and Davis out of Memphis.

Not much except they were both just on campus. I saw Davis is playing in the UAAA Game.

I have not heard any concern about them wavering but we are pushing for some other LBs that may cause some concern but the only one that anyone seems concerned with is Q Walker and he would flip to AU. The staff seems really high on Davis

In regards to Carvin I do not see him ending up at UA. We just got a commitment from T Brown and I know a few others are higher on the board. P Sewell is starting to get CBs to us now and another one(forgot name).

Just thinking about a 3-headed monster :
Kelly
Emmons
Chandler .
Best RB tandem in the SEC , maybe the country .

You might want to Google "tandem"

(edit - This was my 1000th post. Wish it had been something important. But hey, it's Vol nation. None of my posts have been about something important).
