I agree. If Emmons wants to come to UT, they have to take him. I love Anthony Grant, but he could be a star at LB, imo. I know UT just got Flint, but I still feel like LB is a weakness in this class and overall. Now, if Page, Ignont and Reid are all the real deal, I may be wrong. Any way it works out, UT has to make room for Emmons.

Grant is to small to play LB. We are still in on a few hybrid LB/DE guys. Depending on what happens there, Cam Jones may still have a spot in this class.

Right now he is, but one more year in high school, then give Rock a year and he will be a beast at LB. I would still take Cam Jones in a second, but he needs to gain some weight, too.

Grant weighs 180 lbs right now entering his senior year. Rock will build him into a stud RB. He will do will to reach 215 lbs during his time here.

I love Grant and want him at UT. I don't care where he plays, but I was very impressed by his "hudl" video, on offense, defense and special teams. He seems like a pure football player. He may be more of a SS or Star LB/DB in UTs system, but he can play defense in the SEC, imo. He can also play RB in the SEC, imo. I just want Emmons, too. The power back, I feel like UT needs

IMO you still take BJ in this class too if that is an option. You don't have to drop either of our current RB commits. Right now everything on Emmons is just speculation. Once it seems like more of a realistic possibility then great. Until then, it's just wishful thinking.

Exactly, no way UT should drop either RB. Yes, Emmons is pure speculation, but his deceased father was a huge UT fan, which can't hurt. I think if UT goes all out for Emmons and they have a 8 or 9 win season, he is a Vol lock. Of course, I've been wrong a couple of times before

I've read all the recent posts. I understand our desire for a potentially beast RB that was highly interested in us at one time. But has there been any official overtures from the staff yet or any recent expressions of interest from Emmons??

He just transferred. Soon as he's enrolled I'm sure he'll start getting letters.

I'm pretty sure he redshirted at Bama, so He'll be a Rs Sophomore, same as Kamara was. 3 seasons of eligibility.

Don't think so. He played enough for Bama last year to qualify as a year and will then play a year in Juco. He will have 2 to play 2.

Edit: yes, I guess you are right since he hasn't taken a redshirt. Bottom line is that he has 2 years left.

Yea, it's something like that. Except for in rare cases. You're probably right. I just though I read he redshirted but I guess I'm thinking of someone else
