Asheville downtown has always been a bastion of liberal, snooty, "sophisticates". It isn't representative of the surrounding area or even most of the town itself.

Western NC as a whole is football crazy.

those sophisticates, aka rich, entitled kids from Northern parents who shipped them to private schools in the mountains...who think wearing jewerly and tattoos makes them different and hip, most likely go home and watch CFB in secret.

I wouldn't have thought so either, but in another thread it was stated that he asked to be evaluated by the NFL advisory board, and was believed to be debating if he could improve his stock any next year here still playing behind Hurd.

Generally underclassmen should get evaluated in any case. I can't imagine him going Pro unless he has significant money issues, academic issues, or an underlying injury that we don't know about. He can gain himself a lot of money by staying in school another year IMO.

Actually Hubbs and P. Fort both said that he will consider declaring. He may not get drafted but he has the skills to play in the NFL. Very shifty runner, low center of gravity and a big asset in the passing game.

It's crazy honestly because as a RB your window is generally that first contract, maybe maybe your second contract to get paid. I just don't see the point of going pro early when he could grade out higher with another year. That said I have no idea of his or his family's financial situation; sometimes people have to get paid.

Im not saying he should go pro, just that it seems there is a question in his mind that he may not improve his stock that much coming back next yr behind Hurd. Which is somewhat reasonable to me. If he gets a draftable grade i wonder if he jumps. When i think about these situations i look at it from a standpoint of would i want the Titans to draft the player in question. In this case the answer is yes.

I really hope he stays and think that is likely but I could see a scenario where he thinks he is better off leaving and betting on himself making a roster.

All of this may be moot anyway if the staff would rather save the RB spot for next yr

Kamara would benefit greatly from another year at Tennessee. Dennis Rogan, Tyler Bray, Darrington Sentimore...

I grew up west of Asheville. In my day, it was Granola eating tree huggers who didn't take showers or shave (women too), "avant garde" homosexuals, various bohemian types living off their trust funds... or those of friends, etc. Basically the kind of folks who found one reason or another to romanticize "mountain folk".... while looking down on the real mountain folk who lived all around them.

Next cycle is deep at skill positions. Tennessee is in on some Nashville kids, one a 6'0" 220 RB from Memphis area. Only two bonafide linemen in area at present.

Some skill names are Higgins, Rodgers, Chandler, and Richardson.

I really like Hayden. Talented and fits our offense.

Is it the Carolina shrine bowl? Pretty sure it's a replay from the 19th I think. Austin Kendall had a good game as well if it is.

Always thought that Kamara would be a one and done here. Running backs need to get to the league with less wear and tear as possible. This was his third year out of high school and he is eligible. The earlier he gets to the league the better for him.

If he does well in the combine then his draft status will sky rocket.

Anytime they have asked him he has never implied one way or the other if he was considering leaving or staying. He has simply said he is focused on our next game. Heck, I have also heard him say that they talk about the possibilities of next years team, and he was saying it with a smile and a gleam in his eye. I don't have no info in going or staying, I don't think Fort or Hubbs or anyone else truly has a clue what he is doing. That's just my opinion.GO BIG ORANGE!!!!

Good idea in theory, but not so much when you would be a day 3 pick at best based on your current body of work. His time will come after next year perhaps. He needs more than one full season of tape because he plays a devalued position.
