'16 NJ DT Rashan Gary

I don't know why folks keep saying this. Its better for us in the long run if every elite player chooses to play in the SEC. The more elite recruits in the SEC. The more of them get drafted. The more attention it brings to future recruits to wanna play at an SEC school. A rising tide raises all boats. The more talent in the SEC, the more talent will come to Tennessee.

Don't think for one second that the prestige the SEC garnered from those 7 straight national titles didn't help Butch Jones get players during those his first two recruiting classes. Elite players wanna play in the SEC. And its good for us if year in year out all the top players chooose SEC schools. It means we'll be getting our share.

Pretty sure Kevin Steele said "we don't have the players to run a 3-4 and won't anytime soon" a few weeks ago. I doubt we're going to pull a Sunseri and change our base defense without the required personnel.

So if someone asks you a question at 8am in the morning, do you respond at 2 in the afternoon when 6 hours of a person's life has already went by? That's the equivalent of responding to a post a month after you were called out. Still looking for an LSU board I take it.

I've done that plenty of times. My life doesn't revolve around my phone, just VN, and if I'm busy from 8-2 then so be it.

Pick a random thread from a year ago and bump it. Someone will respond to a post that was made that long ago.

Good for you. Maybe you should trade numbers with the LSU troll then and talk about how busy your lives are. I personally would rather see guys we aren't in on not get bumped creating the illusion as if there is some new news relating to Rashan Gary and Tennessee. That's just me though.

It's not like you're busy anyways.

I also dont have time to call some LSU fan and discuss my life's busy schedule. I do set aside time for my fellow vols fans though!

Taking all this a little too seriously, no? Not being a jerk, just asking for real.

Not really. Enjoy talking smack to trolls. And just respond to call outs. Doubt very seriously any of you would remain silent to snarky comments. So why should I?

And yet, here we are...recruiting 5-tech DEs.

Sorry, I just got what you implied. I was toggling between a spreadsheet and VN yesterday and misread what you wrote. My apologies for my comment.

Please tell me you're not saying you think Brown is the better DT.

In some ways. Brown is bigger and more of a traditional DT. Gary is more of a hybrid 3-4 DE like Leonard Williams than a traditional DT.

Don't get me wrong I'd take both. Just don't see a big gap between either kid since they're so different.

Gary is pretty special right now. I think he makes an immediate impact wherever he lands. I think Brown is a little more raw personally but that's JMHO.
