Was merely okay today, per Barton Simmons. Apparently the WR group they're working with there is pretty much garbage and Simmons said as much.

Evaluation from Scout on Elite 11 workouts. JG was named "Most Underrated:"

Most Underrated: Jarrett Guarantano

How do you call a player ranked among the nation’s top 150 prospects underrated? From what we saw of Guarantano this weekend, he looks like a 75 player easily and that’s being conservative. Now we understand this was a short and shirts workout and it’s a different game with the pads on, but the Tennessee commit was really impressive and has major next level tools. He’s big and athletic with elite arm strength and was accurate to all three levels all weekend.

Gruden is the coach in waiting. Gruden will teach him to football at a Heisman level. We will be going to a pro-style spread power zone read single wing offense. TIFWIW.

Easy to see that in his HUDL film from last year. He's got major wheels for a QB.

Hopefully he gets to redshirt next year, then takeover as a RS freshman in 2017 and win big for at least 3 years.

With his 40 time and arm strength, a big senior season should elevate him to 5* status on at least a couple of the recruiting sites.

I recognize the temptation to be fascinated by the new players over what we have but a 4.45 40 combined with elite arm strength and excellent accuracy is simply freakish. This kid has to be the best fit for Butch's offense recruited thus far.

#1 just slipped in the shower and fell down 3 flights of stairs while getting shot accidently in a hunting accident...then the ambulance got hit by a train...very strange set of unfortunate accidents or so I am told by an anonymous informant :)

Had a couple Made Men as patients in med school. One was a "fixer"; I know how this stuff works. :hi:

But 247 didn't move him up at all. Simmons said its just a deep deep QB class and no one did much in the camp circuit to separate themselves. He also said the QBs only had 6 live throws against a defense in the last camp.

Apparently he is also making a push to remove the "dual threat" category and rank all QBs the same against each other. I think that's a great idea. You are either a QB or not. Any suspect passers would be labeled "athlete."
