The poster is inaccurate. He said, "...feaston could of <sic> commented this weekend...". Feaster actually did comment - several times, in fact.

I must say, however, that having twelve spelling, punctuation, and grammar mistakes in a 29-word post is impressive.

lol

Probably. There's always a chance that Feaster is just telling the Clemson people what they want to hear to get the hometown pressure crowd off his back.

Didn't we have a poster that used to call up families and try to get stories? It's not exactly impossible to get into contact with prospects or their families. Stupid but not hard to do.

Yeah, I think Sabanochio did that a few times posing as a member of the media.

I can't speak for Palmer but in talking to some Clemson friends I think most of the high level Clemson fans are impressed with what TN did and in no way are taking us lightly but feel that the 4 year relationship their staff has with Tavien and his Mom will be very tough to break without something major happening.

They think that Feaster probably hasn't felt the love that he did early in his Clemson recruitment and that opened the door for the relentless TN staff to get him to visit. This visit obviously went great for reasons that we all know about TN and that will get TF thinking. But it will be key to see what he says and our people say a few days after the visit to see what the Clemson coaches are able to do to get past this situation.

Many of their fans are confident that due to the relationship they'll be able, with some hard work, get Tavien back on campus and get him to confirm his longterm commitment again and shut it down and never take the key OV that we would need to get his mom on board.

Now they all admit if they aren't able to keep that OV from happening then it is pretty much 50/50 at that point and all bets are off.

Clemson didn't take an RB last year to show Tavien that he is their future so they would need to move on and try and get another top back if he were to drop them and they don't think he'll do that to them last minute.

Anyway this is a summary of some conversations I've had with the other side.

Good stuff, thanks.

So if Clemson was to start recruiting other RBs we should take that as a really positive sign? An official for us and Clemson pursuing another RB may equal Vol lock if that happens in the future.

These are all very reasonable opinions and assertions which aren't possible to find from one of their sites that hover around an 8th grade maturity level.

My Clemson buddies have a lot of faith in what "Hood" is telling them. However, a lot of their fans were tweeting hateful things to Feaster over the weekend.

I'll need Palmer to fill in some more of the details but they didn't take one last year and they have Feaster this year but they may already be looking to add one more in addition to Feaster to compliment him.

So maybe if you see them recruiting other top end RBs that are more of the typical Clemson gamechaning speed type RB's then that could be a good sign.

I think we'll know within the next month or so if this is going to be a true down to the wire battle. I get the vibe that they think that if he is really going to consider leaving Clemson after having some convo's with their coaches in the coming weeks that he'll publicaly open it up because Clemson emphasizes committed players being firm or not being commited at all.

We'll just have to wait and see though, I for one hope we get a chance with Mom and if we don't win at least we will have gotten a full shot.

I'd also be interested to see what Palmer has to say about Feaster's connection with some of their current recruits. Does he have a lot of strong bonds with them? Since it seems like he has taken to Kyle and Jarret some.

A lot of similarities here with the Drew Richmond recruitment last year. Including the complete denial from the other fanbase's message board.

Looks like the sun is shining bright this morning in the eastern part of Tenn :) I'm going to try and go back and answer some of these questions, as well as my take, along with what our insiders are hearing.

In the meantime, please refrain from going to tigernet for god's sake. It's a complete cesspool for the most part. All of "those fans" from our fanbase are frequent visitors to that site. We all got them, ours are just herded into one place.
