'16 SC RB Tavien Feaster

Tennessee and Clemson are my top schools right now,” said Feaster, who did not comment on his commitment level to the Tigers.

“After this visit, I most definitely have to re-evaluate everything I’ve thought about Tennessee. Like I said, when they came in the first time, they were on me hard. They’ve always recruited me hard, but Clemson was selling the whole in-state thing. When I realized they’re just about the same length away from my house, it was like, ‘That’s really not that far.’

“If I go to Tennessee, I can get away from home and just be myself, no distractions, no nothing.”

How can you read that as a clemson fan and think he is solid?

If I'm a RB I want to go somewhere that has upperclassmen shouldering the load with me. Hard to know what he wants, but Tennessee sits ideal for that. Clemson is gonna be tough to beat out though.

Hard to argue their production on the field and in the NFL lately. Every school has a moment where they lose to schools they shouldn't. Clemson is no different. There is only one program a year that avoids shooting themselves in the foot and they are usually the ones holding the trophy after the last game of the year.

I hope we pull this off. I shouldn't have watched Feaster's highlights because it makes me the more envious if we don't.

The first stage of grief is denial. It's a defense mechanism that buffers the immediate shock. Let's hope this eventually leads to depression (stage 4)... I couldn't care less if they ever reach acceptance (stage 5).

No. No, it is not reading too much into things. This is known as "denial"

My life is stage 4

Tennessee is among the top ten schools that can lay claim to the title of RB U. Even though we've had a down decade we're still in the top ten as far as number of players drafted into the NFL at the position. Technically had more than some of the teams ahead of them in the article with the third most players drafted at the position in the past 25 years. It is however from last year so maybe some teams have moved up or down since then.

What school is RB U? Miami among teams that can make claim - NFL.com

7. Tennessee Volunteers
Draft picks the last 25 years: 15, including Montario Hardesty, Travis Henry, Jamal Lewis and Charlie Garner.
The skinny: The glory years of Vols football certainly contributed to their place on the list despite things trickling off a bit after 2005. Six of the 15 draftees turned into NFL starters and that's not even counting undrafted star Arian Foster, the NFL rushing champ in 2010 and another Vol who became an All-Pro at the next level. Head coach Butch Jones has a good stable in the backfield in Knoxville already and recruiting in the area is going well, too.

Clemson is attempting to steal that claim as we speak.

Hate to be the buzzkill but he just tweeted 3 min ago "I'm committed to Clemson"

I really don't think that changes anything. He was committed to them yesterday and the day before. Just doing some damage control from removing Clemson commit from his twitter profile.

I'm with those above. He's still committed but we have our foot in the door. The OV is the most important thing. He makes to the OV with Momma then it's on but if not it will be futile.
