'16 SC RB Tavien Feaster

Personally, I think Feaster will go to Clemson, but if he wants to come here, I don't think there's any way Butch isn't taking him. We may have planned to only sign 1 RB, but if we can get two top-quality RBs, we take our good fortune and run with it!

Remember, we didn't truly sign a top-quality Freshman back in 2015. We picked up Kamara, who comes in as a Sophomore, so by 2016, our two best backs will be Juniors. It's very likely that Hurd is 3-and-done. Difficult to project what happens with Kamara, but it's possible that in 2017, the guys we're signing in this class end up being the feature backs.

Overall, it would be a good position for Feaster. He could be taking snaps in 2016 given the limited depth, and could be competing to be our starting RB by 2017.

Wonder if this puts some pressure on Joe Young... If he ended up leaving, that would be an excuse to bring in a second back, sort of like Peterman last year for the QB position.

Well he blew off Clemson for a visit that he was supposed to take this weekend. Said he couldn't find a ride. That's a pretty nice update

Excellent. Where was that posted? The tigernet post was a link asking me to login, and I'm being dishonest with you all and myself if I say I'm even considering making an account over there.

Paging Dr. Palmer please.

It was in the tigernet link under "Feaster Update"

Some of their posts:

Just texted 2016 running back commit Tavien Feaster about today's scheduled visit and he said he wound up not having a ride. He says he is going to try and get to campus early next week.

He made it all the way to Knoxville but couldn't get to Clemson....hmmmmm

If both backs want in, you take them. If CFA has a problem with it then the staff or him might look elsewhere. You just don't pass up a talented running back like Feaster.

Hurd and Kamara are both sophomores and will both be getting a lot of carries his year.

I think when people/recruits start to see that there might not be much concern over taking both CFA and Feaster (from their perspective).
