We played him last week at our place and he had probably 1 or 2 catches and the kid quarding him is 5'8 and 155 so i think hes over rated... higgins on the other hand had are best corner who is 6'2 185 and still probably had 3 catches on the smaller kid on the first drive and had about 4 or 5 more the rest of the game against the bigger one with a 50 yard td reception

He's a big athletic guy. On that alone he has a lot of potential I guess.. Other than the one difficult catch he made, his play didn't really stick out IMO..

I would say it is a sign that UGA is willing to take a chance on a guy in which UT isn't willing to take that same chance. It's a reach for UGA.

UGA is desperate signing a 20-21 year old kid and placing him. My question is why would UGA offer a kid who could not get into UT?

Kirby isn't that stupid. Or I wouldn't think so. Sign and place has changed. If they sign a guy who doesn't quantify I believe it hurts the APR and may be some kind of penalty.

Exactly what I'm thinking. Might be an offer for show, in case the guy is worth it in two years.

He was also kicked off the Oak Ridge basketball team for violation of team rules. Its a shame this kid can't get his stuff together.
