Similar except this year's schedule is much tougher.
That's what I'm thinking. 7-5 for this year's team would be more impressive. They did lose to UCLA that year and we're still able to get to 7-5, so if we lose to Oregon we'd still be on pace heading into conference.

How do you think this team stacks up with Kiffin's 2009 team? They went 7-5 in year one and I think they're a good measuring bar for this year's team.

Someone already said this, but the schedule this year is pretty brutal.

Away trips to Oregon and Florida back-to-back.

UGA and SCar are at home, but they're legit division and conference contenders.

Auburn's a wild card with Malzahn back on the Plains.

We should go 3-1 in OOC games. Then it's a matter of picking up 3 wins from Missouri, Vandy, UK, Auburn.

Don't be suprised if Steve Urkels brother at vandy jumps ship after this year with butch locking down the best players in the state.

If Franklin keeps producing at Vandy, I wouldnt be surprised to see him replace Saban when he retires.

Now, if AJ Morris would go ahead and commit, we could really get this 2016 class rolling!

Considering he is in Nashville he probably grew up a fan of either Bama or Florida so he'll be a chore to land. Generalizing here, but the Nashville area is full of front running bandwagon type fans.

There are a ton of VOL fans in Nashville. More than any other fanbase. But there are also many bandwagon fans as well. Overall more VOL fans though

That's a stretch. It isn't Knoxville so obviously it isn't as predominantly pro-UT as there. And there are more people here than anywhere else in the state so it may seem like there are more front runners bc there are more people in general. The are also a lot of people who have relocated here. But there are still waaay more vol fans here than anything else.

I hope the young man keeps a solid head on his shoulders, cause he's gonna play some serious ball on Saturdays in a few years...hopefully in orange.

No way. When I lived in Nashville (pre Vol fan days) as a kid everyone was a Vol fan. I remember this one kid came to school with a Vandy watch, got it for Christmas. Instantly achieved pariah status.

According to Algore AZ could have some nice beaches when global warming melts the ice caps and floods the world.

Says he's going to be playing WR, TE, and OLB (in the 3-4 - Jack) for his HS this year. Anyways, love this commitment.
