Miller is very likely being recruited over or won't be ready next year since we're after 2 Juco CBs. Probably means Cam has told Butch he's jumping too. Moseley project has failed, he and Foreman are good back ups. On the roster now looking to next year I'd say Abernathy, Martin, Gaulden, TKjr, and Berry are the backfield unless Warrior, Osbourne, or a Juco guy can come in and steal a spot. Just an opinion.

Thanks for sharing...I feel like I know stuff now. :)

I hate to be starting a newbie at corner during our potential SEC title run but it's the hand we probably will be dealt. Man I want Cam to stay.

Any time buddy glad I could enlighten. Deep thoughts by Jack Handy know what I'm sayin. Seriously tho I know you're from Texas and you're probably partial to Miller, but my unvalidated worthless opinion had been rendered, and his fate is unfortunately sealed. Send us a 5* RB next time, oh wait Lennon Creer. Shucks.

Denarious Moore was a helluva consolation prize. :)

You ignored maybe the most athletic DB on the team (outside of Evan Berry). I think Stephen Griffin starts opposite TKjr next year. He's been slowed by an ankle injury this year but I loved what I saw in the spring. He jumps off the screen as an NFL caliber athlete. He's one of our highest upside freshmen who haven't played much.

If the JUCO corners come in at January and go through spring ball, it might not be a bad situation. I'd love to have both Jamarcus King and Desmond Henderson as EE and see them battle it out in the spring with the returnees.

Jumps off the screen as an NFL caliber athlete? How many times have you seen him in the screen against someone besides our second team offense?

I think the kid will be good too, but geeze pump the brakes a bit. We haven't actually seen him play yet.

He played and looked pretty good against Western Carolina.

Really? There was a dead period on big backs between Herschel Walker and Fournette? Honey Badger was drafted in 2013 dude! What year do you think this is? :w00t:

No I'm saying the backs like Henry, Fournette, Hurd, Chubb, are guys I wouldn't trust a safety under 200lbs to tackle. He's not the Honey Badger either. Even though I could've sworn LSU used him all over the place. He was listed as a starting CB there opposite Claiborne.

There are excellent pro safeties in the 185-195 range and have been since Jim Brown...ultimate big back. I'm not saying Miller is a safety, but he's physical (personally witnessed) and the absolute declaration that he could "never" make that switch is foolhardy. There's just no way that experts on a message board, going only on paper dimensions could KNOW that.

JoeJuan is a very bright, well mannered and could get into any school in the country because of his smarts.....his mother is pretty sharp also, I am from Hendersonville and hope he goes to Rocky Top, but he has some west Nashville influence and if he were to pick Vanderbilt, it would be because he is SMART ENOUGH to get in and then flourish

Just not smart enough to read the TSSAA rule on transfers....

WTH happened to Claiborne in the pros? Made to look better than he was in college based on the players around him?

That or he got away with being more talented. You can't do that in NFL. You got to get in film room and always work on your craft or NFL QBs will pick you a part
