I'm telling you guys CBJ wants JW and theresno doubt about it. He recently called making sure that JW got his official set up. The kid lives close to me, i cut his hair, and he trains with us. UT has not cooled on him or none of that.
Anyone with the offer list that Joejuan has and chooses them, probably isn't smart enough to get in
Then how is there even talk of him favoring Vanderbilt. Anyone with the offer list that Joejuan has and chooses them, probably isn't smart enough to get in because that makes zero sense. I'm not doubting you. I just want to know more.
JoeJuan is a very bright, well mannered and could get into any school in the country because of his smarts.....his mother is pretty sharp also, I am from Hendersonville and hope he goes to Rocky Top, but he has some west Nashville influence and if he were to pick Vanderbilt, it would be because he is SMART ENOUGH to get in and then flourish
I have no doubt that he is a smart kid. I was really just being a smart*** and taking a shot at Vanderbilt. I figured most on here would pick up on that. If he has dreams of doing something in the medical field, Vanderbilt would be a nice choice. That is the only way though. Choosing them for any reason other than that is definitely not smart. Especially with his offers.
It's not that UT doesn't want him, according to Callahan. It's that Tennessee feels it is chasing other teams, such as Vandy, Auburn, and maybe Texas A&M was Callahan's thoughts.
Other things he mentioned:
You might have missed it, but I mentioned a couple times recently that Micah Abernathy, Rashaan Gaulden and maybe even Darrell Miller are looking like future safeties. It's probably not even out of the question that Jauan Jennings could move to safety in the future, so Tennessee feels it has a few options there. With that in mind, where the Vols primarily need help is at corner.

If Miller isn't panning out at corner there is no way he ever plays safety here.
Just relaying some info to the board, from questions that were being asked about Williams. I'm sure we would still love to have JoeJuan, but Callahan was saying UT was getting the impression we may be trailing other teams.
