Oh it's definitely wild, especially since our hometown population was about 10,000. When he goes back home, he's easily the wealthiest person in town haha. My mom still sees him fairly often around town in the offseason. I think he was actually there last week to host a camp for kids.

I love for UT to sign highly ranked in-state guys just as much as the next fan.

But with our limited scholarships, i wish we had left that spot open.

This is the first time i've not agreed with Butch's eval on a player.

I hope i'm wrong. We'll see.

It's Bob Weldon and his team that are doing most of the evals I believe

And what evidence would lead you to think that?
Why would I say it if I didn't mean it?

Obviously I don't give two craps what anyone thinks of my opinion. I give it, and either you agree or not.

Unless your making the suggestion that I can't be in line with their talent evaluation abilities, because I'm me. Whoever "me" is, considering you don't know squat about me.

I've stated numerous times how much I think the coaches at UT are the best we have had at talent evaluation.
When people were doubting Moseley before he got to campus, I was one of the few that said "Butch knows what he's doing".
Or how he made Jaylen Reeves-Maybin a priority recruit - people were saying too slow to be a RB or Safety. But anybody with any knowledge of football could tell he was going to be an outstanding OLB.

So what are you even talking about?
You have no idea what I have said about Butch and his staff.

Just because i don't like this commit...smh
You just want to argue with nothing to stand on.

But, by all means...

So, if anything, there's a good shot of him reaching his potential because he will be coached by Coach MF Stripling.

This is a very good possibility.
I hope this is the reason, because I do think he projects best there (WDE)
Stripling has raised every DL's ability since he's been here and if Bituli is in fact going to be coached by him
then a lot of the stuff I critiqued will be remedied.
-all our our lineman have good feet and lateral movement
- all of them play low

Bituli does have another year left.

One evaluation I was completely wrong about was Jalen Ramsey. I watched his junior tape and promptly said he wasn't even the best player in Nashville (Corn Elder).

Then I watched him run in spring track and dominate the competition. His mid-season senior film showed a completely different player.

Like I said, we'll see.

You can't just let people bash you for no reason.

I mean seriously. Come down on me, that's fine. But D1 Coneley??

He's an insider and this board doesn't have many as it is.
I know it's no skin off his back probably, but have a little respect for someone (D1) that brings "news" to the board. It's okay to disagree, but some of these yokels on here are just rude..

I consider it pure joy if I just got lambasted by the great Leonard Little. Second best moment to John Ward looking at me on his way out of the press box. I'll never forget. With a slight nod, he said:

I heard John Ward in real life. And now I've been word-tackled by No. 1.
