Is his father Bernard Oden? I remember him as being a great athlete some years ago at Spring Hill.

A bunch of good Oden, Baughs and Hardins who have played ball in Maury County. Hope he keeps his grades up and ends up a Vol.

Apparently he is Bernard Oden's nephew.

Heck of an athlete and loads of potential based on highlights but seemed like a short highlight for a QB with an entire season which makes you wonder how consistent he is through an entire game.

He missed several games this season due to an injury he suffered in the previous basketball season.

He is the definition of the word "project" but my God...the upside!

Watched him play this year and looked pretty good. He is probably the skinniest football player I have ever seen though.

So was Bray and Dobbs. We haven't had good look with "normal" weight QB's lately so I am good with that.

I'm betting Ty is a pretty major work in progress in terms of being a D1 QB. Saw him last night and still very thin. Every bit of 6'5 if not 6'6. Excellent basketball player, excellent athlete. Was SpringHill's point guard last year at 6'5. Curious to see how he develops.

Gonna take a lot of work for this kid to catch up to where Kendall is right now.

Any idea if the staff told Kendall he was the only QB they'd take? Or do you guys believe this is truly guy is truly and athlete and could play multiple positions?

I like this offer. Give him a shot a QB like we are Jennings. If he doesn't work out there, move him. I think he could be a good WR if he doesn't pan out at QB.
