"It's crazy it's all just happened really fast," Oden said. "At first you think you're not special and then all of a sudden you're special and I wonder why it happened to me. It's just crazy but I'm very thankful."
"It's means a lot especially because it's my home state," he said "It's an honor just to receive something like that from a program as big as Tennessee and it makes me feel special that they see my talent."
"I think it was a good season for them and a season that they needed so they could find out who they are," Oden said. "I think it was nice to see Joshua Dobbs at quarterback because he kind of reminds me of myself. I like the way he plays and I could see myself fitting in there."
Oden, who is also receiving interest from Kentucky, Ole Miss, Notre Dame and UCLA, said that even though Tennessee has a quarterback committed in the 2016 class in Rivals100 prospect Austin Kendall, he's not afraid of a little competition. "I think it would be a challenge but I'm all about challenges," Oden said. "I think it would just be something that would make us both better to grow and compete against one another."
