'16 TX OT Kellen Deisch

He probably watched the game and said AR line is good. TN line is not. I could probably get playing time right now.

Are we watching the same oline

Yep. They were shaky against OK, no doubt, but held their own very well against FL. Great DL are going to make some plays. They gave Dobbs plenty of time Saturday night. They have progressed as the season has gone on, unlike some units that have regressed, IMO.

I'm not so sure. When I see 63 and 71 in the backfield on every play, I don't think that that is progress.

You've forgotten what a good oline looks like, it's been so long.

1st half- the OL looked good. They were setting the edge for Hurd/AK. Gave Dobbs ample time to throw. Nice clean pocket.

2nd half- different story. They got absolutely whipped. I noticed Arky started cross blitzing too.

I didn't say they were great or even good. I said they are not our problem right now, and that's true. They are not our weakest unit either.

"To win in the sec, you must win in the trenches."

We won't win until we have good OL play. Doesn't matter if your receivers are incredible (2012). Doesn't matter if you have incredible running backs (this season). hell unless your QB's name is Cam Newton, it doesn't really matter if you have a great QB. We need to take a step forward on the offensive line to truly become an sec contender

Fully agree GFW!

Any insight to all the issues with the team and coaches for us non-insiders of the program?

No apologies necessary. Thanks for all that you bring to this forum.

Any chance of any commitments coming out of the Georgia weekend?

It's been pretty hush hush over here in general but there is always a good chance of a commitment, especially if we whoop that azz

But they are a problem. Whether they are the weakest link or not is irrelevant. Point being, they are a weakness to some degree.

They open up nothing between the tackles in the run game, and Dobbs has no time to even think on a large number of passing plays. Every yard Hurd or Kamara get is earned solely on their own athletic ability and strength. Arky (1st half) was their best of the three Power 5 games we have played.

I guess we can agree to disagree, but I've seen little to give me hope with that unit going forward this season.
